I posted pics in "showing off leos" of my 3 geckos and someone asked me a question about the 5 1/2 gal tank i had a tiny baby in. Posted here cause other thread not for housing lol. Tell me if this is ok cause i want great homes for my geckos for them to thrive.

Her viv pic is first one lower. I'm using a desk lamp with a 50w lizard dark light tho with flash u cannot see that. I do not have a UTH on this viv cause i do not want to oveheat it. The question was about gradient. I think this desk light does decent for gradient as a temporary thing. viv gets around 85f degrees with desk lamp. on warm side. 75-80f on cool.

Second pic is of 20 gal high rise for Willow (my first gecko) and he seems to like it much. Has small uth on one side under bottom and as well u cannot see the light bcause of flash but he has a 75w red light. temp warm side about 85 -88f but think i have a sucky therm. will remedy that. cool side i would guess 70-75f. Hard to warm up or regualte proper heat with 20 gal high so am looking for a long.

Lastly is my 30gal long with Stubs. You can see he came out to be photographed. Got him 2 days ago already eating and doing great. No uth yet but will be getting one asap. Also has a red light on warm side 75w and temps are about 85-90 on warm side. Seems happy and energetic.

I was using day bulbs in all tanks and never saw my geckos. Yesterday i decided to get the red bulbs i had read many people use and omg they were out and playing and stayed out! I will never go to day lights again and stick with the red. They seem to love them. The black night light for the little one it seemed to like as well for she/he also came out for a bit. And she never really does.

Let me know how they look and wat i might be able to do dif to make them happy please! :D Any advice for a new gecko owner and enthusiast would be awesome. Thanks all :)
