vivarium build question

I am currently designing and going to build a stackable vivarium set up to house everybody in the same area. I am having a problem finding the simplest of things for the build. The simple plastic runner for the slide doors on the front of the viv. If anyone knows where I can find them in the US or at least someone that has them and ships to the US that would be great.

I'm in a similar spot and have planned to use an old glass cabinet with plexiglass doors in front(since I have to open one of two doors that would expose all 4 shelves). I imagine easiest thing would be to get a certain type of drill bit for a cabinet sander and make your own runner if its wood...or maybe check for something at lowes that would work. Maybe even some type of plastic edge wire cover(the rubber/plastic pieces, can't say i've seen them at lowes but I know they tend to come with wire cages and lowes sells the materials for wire cages. Just a thought. Good luck!

Sounds like you got it to work, but if you go to a glass place, they can get you many types and profiles of sliders/runners and glass. Lots of times if you just buy the parts and pieces from them, it's cheap. I'm going to have my glass place build me solid frames with sliding doors that I can face mount to the box I'm going to make myself. I have been dreaming about mine for a while, but I have to hold off because I'm actually going to get a cabinet company supply me the wood and finish the boxes and its not going to be cheap.

Yeah I really am only going to do 1 enclosure with 5 tanks in it (2 leos and 3 cresties). I was going to put them on locking sliders for easy access and cleaning. I just have a crazy lighting idea that is going to probably set me back more then the actual cabinets lol. You should post picks when you are all finished setting it up. Would be really interested to see it.
