Just thought I'd throw a couple pics out of what I'm seeing with the W&Y project so far. Here's a couple that hatched out 2 months ago from the same clutch. It looks to me like one has a much higher side and somewhat faded lines which are what seems to be obvious markers. The clutch mate, although a BEAUTIFUL gecko does not have the high white sides and expresses a much more "high contrast" look to her, but I'm thinking she's not expressing the W&Y trait. Here's a couple pics for you all to judge on your own. Opinions are very welcome. The pic with them both together isn't the best pic ever, but I wanted to get one with "natural" sunlight to show that I'm not "enhancing" the heck out of the pics. Disregard the hairy arms ;)

both are looking awesome only time will tell but they are looking w&y to me the eye liner and the nape band . and am no expert on the morph as i only have one but w&y x w&y can still put out w&y with different patterning to the parents and each other, you have any hatchling pictures of them?

Those turned out awesome. What was the pairing? W&y to w&y or a cross?
Those two came from a cross of W&Y het Tremper X RAPTOR. The male I chose was a W&Y from Matt Baronak with some unique shades of yellows and bright whites instead of one that had been "tangerined out". I wanted to get one as close looking to how the original W&Ys looked as possible. I'm loving the contrasts that the pairing is giving me :)

I agree that they are both showing certain W&Y qualities, but I wouldn't be comfortable labeling them both W&Ys at this point. It's pretty obvious that the lower contrast one is, but not 100% on the other. There's a hatchling pic of the one I'm questioning in this thread; http://geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=88651

I agree with wanting one that looks like the originals. Tangerine looks cool, but I'm going for original as well. Will you be breeding these back to the w&y parent? They could produce amazing offspring.

I have a couple options on the table. There's actually a sale pending on one of the above. I had planned on holding them both back, but the sale would definitely help kickstart another more exciting project ;). I'd be lying if I said that it was an easy decision though...sacrifices for the greater good...I'm pretty confident I can create more like these, we'll see how they grow out as to how many I keep :)
