want to ship to texas...should i use cold packs?

I am new to the shipping of geckos, and have heard about this, but have never received a shipment with a cold pack inside...

what would be the conditions for the use of this, and how many..?

thanks for the help in advance, and comparisons, suggestions welcome...

I never heard of using cold packs unless the temps get to 110+. If you use a good insulated bix, I don't think you would need to worry. But what do I know I have only shipped like 3 times.
