Hi,
At the Moment I have a really strange egg I'm waiting for to hatch! I'm incubating the third seasen and have never had something like that before...
This egg is in the incubator for 90 days now! Normally the little ones hatch about day 51 +/- 2 days at ~83-84 degrees, but this one just don't want to come out!
At about week 5-8 it was very difficult to candle, just everything dark inside the egg. As it were absolutely full! When I now candle it, I can clearly see the little gecko, and it still moves!!!
Unfortunately the clutchmate stoped developing in the first week but the other eggs from this pairing hatched at normal times - and they were all in the same box - with about 3cm space between. So I dont'n think that this egg was exposed to lower temperatures...
My only theory at the moment is that there was a development stop for a while...:main_huh:
What do You think? Ever had something like that?
By the way - it's from a SHTCTB female and a striped tremper Albino het RAPTOR male!
