I use Joy "antibacterial" dish washing soap. Thats it..... even for the whole tank cleaning.

I wash them real well and then make sure to rinse very well also to make sure no residue is left on anything.

For the ceramic water and feeder dish..... I just use a dab of "bacterial hand soap" we keep on the counter....... rinse... dry off with a paper towel. I also do this to spot clean. Then use a damp "clean water" rag to finish up.

Thats all I do?

Yeah all I use is dish soap lol, that's all I've ever used for all the reptiles over owned and I've never had any problems what so ever.

The bleach solution is very good too but I cannot stand the smell of bleach it makes me throw up so I can't use it or I'll be cleaning up more then just the tile lol..

I use house hold Hydrogen Peroxide.
Diluted it can be a human mouthwash.
It does the cleaning, germ killing, and easy rinse
nicely and no smelly bleach.
Damp H.P. cloth to clean.
Dampened hot water cloth rinse.
Used for 3 years since inquiry on it.
I Clean and rinse while gecko is in habitat.
Shoe them to the other end of tank while working.
I do the potty stain on tile flooring this way too.
All my habitats are glass though,
no idea on plastic tubs.
I never wear gloves.
Never a sign of a problem.
Take care. HJ

I use hydrogen peroxide, vinegar + baking soda, or peroxide + vinegar (sprayed one on top of the other) for all my household cleaning, including my rat cage. It's safe and effective!
