another quick question about acrlic

I purchased some acrlic type of stuff and cant cut it worth anything, i cut numberous lines used a ruler and everything but it wont score very well, im using a acrlic/plexi glass cutter. this is just horrible. any easier way of doing this? i think i must of got a too thick of a piece.

H x W x L divided by 321 Gives approx. size

oops sorry the correct fomula for that is H x W x L divided by 231 not 321.
