For my crested, do I use tap water, distilled water, or spring water in a jug? Do I need a uva light and a uvb light? I am receiving different answers at each pet store.

Tap water is practically fine to use as drinking water to any reptiles unless you're using it for fishes or frogs. But if it bothers you, spring water is okay too. Distilled water is better off used as a misting water

I do the same (use tap water for the water bowl, distilled water for spraying).

For crested geckos, most people use a UVB bulb. If you are growing plants in the enclosure, you will need lighting to help the plants too. Crested geckos don't require a UVA/basking bulb, although some people provide a heat source if their ambient temperatures get very low. Keep in mind that crested geckos are best in cooler habitat and can be in danger when the temperature gets much above 80 F and they cannot cool off.
