The water that you put in the incubator in the little trough. Its become moldy... I have eggs in the incubator, so wondering how I would clean out the mold with out letting the eggs get to cold? Any ideas?

ummmm i never put water in there that's mainly for bird eggs
all the moisture needed should come from the hatchign medium in the air tight container anyway. ie... perilite/vermiculite/hatchright, sphag moss, etc...

My incubators are just water in a plastic storage container with an aquarium heater. The gladware with eggs just float around. Aquarium heaters are super accurate and the water keeps the temp super stable.

For your issue though it sounds like you may need to completely redo the way you setup the incubator. Is it under a grate or anything? Can you just soak up the water that is there with a paper towel?

water is a great heatsink and can help stabilize the temperature of any incubator. to keep it from getting funky you might keep it in a ziploc bag.

good luck!

yah i just have water bottles in there hehe since i have a ton of them around the house causei use that for water on them, and humid hides
