waxworms question

I have been feeding my gecko wax worms for about a week now... and just bought more for the upcoming week. are they really that bad for my leopard gecko??? I have heard they are addicting / fattening ... But how long does it take to get addicted?? And if i were to switch back to meal worms after, is that OK? or will he jsut NOT EAT THEM......

should i refrigerate them??? Or is room temp Ok.

when i worked in bait shop we woudl refridgerate the waxwoms. they jsut get lehtargic and take some time to warm up and move around i recomend wamring them up before feeding. but they last longer when in fridge. however feed sparingly as it can behard to get swtiched back over later
