Not sure what you mean by do they eat but wax worms are not a good staple diet for leos they have almost no nutrition and are kinda fatty.I would give wax worms sparingly

Waxworms are more like treats for geckos, if you feed too many then your geckos will get fat. ANd you feed them to your geckos as larvae not moths.

i don't know the answer but bronko is asking i think

Do the waxworms as larvae eat or do they only eat when they are months? (when you are raising them)
and what do they eat?

thats what i think bronko is asking :)

yea i know i was only gonna feed them no more then 2 a month its just for veriety. but my question is do i need to offer them food while they are larva or is it that they dont need food tell they turn into moths? because im planning to breed them for me and some of my friends who have beardies

I read somewhere that the moths don't eat they just eat when they are larvae then they cocoon and hatch as moths breed and lay eggs and die. I actually got some wax worms and kept a few some died and some cocooned and I put the cocoons in a container with some egg crate and 3 to 4 weeks later they finally hatched.
