Just got my order of waxworms in the mail and BOY DID MY GECKOS LOVE THEM!!! I had one little girl (well, not really little), and she had been losing weight recently, so I tried to give her some of these.... she gobbled four of them up. I cut her off at 4, but she took them without haste. It surprised me because she's usually afraid of me even with tweezers, but she took the waxies straight from the tweezers as well. It's always nice to find something else that your geckos will take... <insert big, cheesy, smiley face here>

I just bought waxworms for the first time. Are they supposed to be completely lifeless? Because not a single one has moved. Might seem like a silly question, but I don't know if they're supposed to be that way or if I got a freakin batch of dead worms.

If they are cold they do slow down. I keep mine in the fridge and have to defrost them for about 30 before feed so they move. Also you don't want to over feed wax worms since they are very high in fat.
