we got SLUGGED!!

we had slugs that were coming into the house under the baseboards, so we moved everything around today and caulked.... while moving Ryuu's tank around, I noticed slug trails in her tank, on her reptile carpet, and even on her head!! Ewwwww (she's clean now, by the way)

Right now, her carpet's in the wash, the tanks been disinfected, and she's hanging with me on the couch... I was looking at the National Geographic site and Ryuu freaked, ran off my chest and onto the keyboard to look at the star/galaxy pictures...

LOL! Cute. I remember when washington got loaded with slugs, it's slugs there and crickets here...dunno which one I like better :main_rolleyes:

I don't know... I'd probably take the crickets! I was so grossed out that their slime was on her head... she did NOT enjoy being scrubbed lol Clean tank though

lol, she's sneaky, but her "out" time is limited compliments of my dog being a little TOO interested in her. (he's eaten one reptile "pet" as a hatchling, so i'm oober careful watching him- it was a wild banded gecko who figured out how to get out of it's enclosure)
