We smile for the strangest things

Funny what owning a gecko can get you excited about. When we notice that they haven't pooped, we make changes here and there to make sure they do and actually SMILE when we see a healthy nugget with a side of urate in their tank.

First time I've ever actually been happy to see poop...what about you? LOL

Oh yes. When my female went off food for a few months I was so happy to see poop because that means she's eating! I also have a deformed Emerald Tree Boa and it makes it almost impossible for him to poop on his own so whenever I see poop in his bath I'm ecstatic

And here I was, thinking I was strange for getting exciting over seeing a poop. I'm super glad to know I'm not the only one! This was really the second poop since I got my gecko last Friday. I've been looking for the last couple of days and not seeing anything. Well, today I came home and there it was, in a totally new spot too!

hahaha same here., I was really happy too when I saw my enigma poop after not eating for about a week XD

I think this is a reptile owner thing, lol. I have never worried about seeing my cats or dog poo, nor have I ever been excited about it. The only way to know for sure our reptiles are eating many times is to see the poo.

I'm sure those of us with kids never had to worry about them doing their "business" either...definitely a reptile owner thing...lol
