Website building recommendations please?

Hey everyone. I want to start developing a website now and am reaching out for ideas on where to start. Any recommendations with who I should go with for software or a website I should use for website building for dummies? Any information would be appreciated.

How involved a site and how much are you looking to spend? It could be that you'd be able to do just fine with wordpress or joomla on godaddy. If you're feeling brave enough to actually hand code some html, css, and php I'd be willing to answer any questions.

Otherwise web sites are like anything else... cheap/fast/quality, you get to pick 2.

My son is a graph design artist that graduated Central WA. University 2 Yrs. ago. He is awesome and would welcome the work. He designed my husbands Logo for his WWW.invape.com website.
