What are your guy's prefered size and weight? I don't have a scale, but I want to get one and stuff for hatchling racks, so i can breed and stuff. So, back to the main Q. What do you guys prefer for your gecko(s) saftey in breeding?
Thanks!

Males - 45+grams
Females - 50+grams
Will they/can they breed smaller than that yes. A lot of people will tell you that it will stunt their growth, I do not think it stunts them but it really slows their growth alot. Hopefully that helped.

For me, 45 grams for males. If the female is over a year, then 50 grams. If sh'es just under a year (10-11 months), then 60+ grams. I had 2 females this year hit 63 grams right around 10 months and they both started ovulating shortly after that. If I don't know their age, then I wait until 60 grams also.
