Weight?

Is there a way I can guess a geckos weight without a scale.
So I can get in the range of my gecko's weight.
Something like a gecko that is 6 months, 6 inches, and a huge tail would be ___ grams. Anything could help.

Unfortunately Sam, there is nothing other than a scale that can even be close to accurate due to geckos being built so differently these days. I mean, people can tell you a guesstimate based on their own personal experience, but even then it could be incredibly off.

For example..I had a 2 month old gecko that was 5" long...she looked like a snake at that age!

It would be nice though wouldn't it!?

I'm sure, the more geckos you have, and the more you have experience with it, your eye becomes pretty well trained in guessing the weight of your own geckos based on size

Oh, I wish I could just eyeball it.

But, you can't.

A scale is needed. Either a postal scale for a rough estimate or a food digital scale for a more acurate reading.

Check out either the post office or walmart.
