Weights

I've had Willow and Tara just over a week now and I'd just like to say YAY! Tara has put weight on already.
I weighed both the girls on Tuesday last week, Willow weighed 42g and Tara weighed only 29g.
I weighed Tara this morning and she now weighs 30g!
I've not yet weighed Willow but I need my OH around for her as she's quite a mover and my eyes are struggling a little at the moment.

I got told the girls were about 3 months old by the previous owner but the advert for them said they were late 09 babies so I'm not sure of their age, after seeing other peoples pictures I'm leaning more towards the 3 month mark. I just wondered what weight should the girls be roughly at that age?

I know it seems silly getting excited about Tara putting on 1g but I was a little worried about her due to her being blind, thankfully she ate some mealies last night. Tara will be that little bit more work for me as I'm going to have to hand feed her but she's worth it.

try gettin her used to being bowl fed.
keep mealies in a bowl, have her nose around in it.
if u succeed with the bowl feeding ull never be able to change her cage set up, as it would confuse her, but then she'd know where to find her food.
