My gecko had a infection in the mouth(but not yet mouth rot) then a day or two before the vet appointment his eyes started getting darker until they became a gray cloud. And he stopped eating.When I took him to the vet the cloud was gone!!! He put me on baytril for 10 days I gave it to him and the infection went away but the cloudy eyes didn't. He also started to eat again .Now his eyes are almost always closed. Right after the ten days the infection came back and now I would consider it mouth rot, he also stopped eating . He is in a 20 gallon long glass cage. With a paper towel substrate. I feed mealworms(my mom thinks this is the reason why I dont think it is). He has two hides. There is a heating pad covering 1/3 of the cage. When it gets too cold I put a heat lamp over him. What Happend and what should I do?
