i'm trying to figure out the sexes of our older residents! we've only had the older two for about 3 months so i'm a newbie at figuring out what they are. i've looked online at pictures of males and females but i still can't tell for sure if they're boys or girls. and obviously i'd like to know so in the future i can figure out housing arrangements :) the youngest one we got about a month ago and it bit me because it doesn't like being held but i got some pictures. as you can tell he's squirming while the other two just sit there. LOL.

All three look female from what I can see.(a little out of focus when I enlarge the pictures) Males have a "V" shaped row of pores just above the vent and two bulges just below the vent.
As far as housing, you can house females of the same size together but IMO they should all be housed seperately.

Wouldn't they be too young to sex? Granted the OP only says how long they've had them, not how old they are.

At about 15 grams I can tell what sex they are with little to no problem at all. Alot of breeders with more experience than me can tell the gender even smaller than that. Once they reach 20-25 grams it should be pretty obvious what gender they are.

How do you know how much they weigh?

Because they appear to lack the bulges below the vent and lack the "V" shape of pores above the vent. If they are still relatively really small, the male parts(if any) could have not developed yet, or obvious enough to count as 100% male. But, judging by hand:gecko size ratio, they seem to be least large enough to sex accurately. Therefore, since no bulges or dark "V" shape of pores can be seen, all three geckos "appear" to be female

That's where I got confused. 'Cause wouldn't young males also appear to be female? So saying they appear to be female without knowing their ages (or weights) seems like it would be pointless. God knows I'm no expert though, which is why I asked.

lol! Well.... The OP states that the first two she has had for over 3 months and the last she has had for about a month. Knowing this about the first two plus the pics, I am sure that they are more than 15 grams. I can also tell that they are quite a bit older than the 3rd gecko because of the way there undersides are not as opaque as a young gecko. The last one is alot smaller and is probably right around that 15 gram range. But regardless, From my experience they all look female from what I can see.

well, although we do not have a scale yet (should probably get one this week while we're out!) i can give you a better picture of Apollo in her? glory climbing around on my hand. as i said the older two have grown quite a bit since we got them and put on a lot of weight. they had fairly skinny tails when we brought them home but they looove food. the younger one came to us extremely small but she's getting much bigger!
