lets just say i wasn't exactly drooling..

I was expecting jade green or pea soup and got an orange with small green patches on it because it wasn't fully ripe..

Ron did have one that was incredibly beautiful, bright lemony yellow, slight green tint with intense orange lateral lines. It does seem that lots of people have greenish tones in them, some animals retain them better into adulthood than others.

Why am I not surprised that there are no rave reviews of the Emerines after everyone that went to Daytona has seen them in person now? Any pictures?

Well tangerines werent that tangerine when they first came out so Im guessing this is just the beginning of emeralds which is why they look so faint green. I dont think it will be for another 5 years or so till they become even close to "green".

I was disappointed in the Emerines, and have seen many geckos over the years that look just like them. As a matter of fact, I have produced a few myself and had a terrible time selling them because people didn't like them, lol! Actually, they are pretty geckos... but not at that price tag.

The good news is that there are plenty of options out there when it comes time to outcross. I personally thought it looked the coolest on a few of the yellow ones.

Dang man! Yeah, those yellow two are outrageous! I really like the looks of them without all the Patternless Stripe 'genes'.
