'98 Volvo S70. After I pay for the smog check, I get in the car and the plastic cover to the code reader port is sitting on the passenger seat. There's a little broken plastic piece next to it. Lame. Not cool. The guy didn't say anything, just put them there on the seat. I look in the shop and he's out back.
I should have just gone back there and said WTF? right then, but I decided to go eat something first. Then I go back and the guy is closed. I try to call and leave a message but the answering service is turned off.
So I guess I'll go back or call tomorrow and give him a piece of my mind. Maybe it can superglued, but I think I'll still report him to the better business bureau and city chamber of commerce. I'll probably yell at him a bit too. You don't just break a piece off someone's Volvo and leave it on the seat without saying anything.
My cousin says I should call immigration and see if the guy is legally in the country. I think he's from China or Nepal or something. My cousin is ruthless like that. He once called immigration about a contractor that kept sending illegal aliens to work on his house. ICE ended up raiding them!
