We soldered the wire to the flex-watt...It's quite a job. :main_thumbsdown: The easier thing to do is buy the connectors and use the connector and tool to put it together. My Dad helped us hook up the wiring. :main_thumbsup:

Thanks for the nice comments! :D

aww I can't solder. :main_thumbsdown: I'm just going to have to buy those clip thingys.

Soldering is actually pretty easy. I used to be intimidated by it until I had to solder some projects together for me electronics class at ITT Tech. You just have to take your time and don't rush.

Nice job on the Rack Matt and Mallorie :)

What are the shelves made from?

BTW, I find that if the clips are not done perfectly, you get different temps on every level. Soldering is way easier and I learned how as I soldered the flexwatt. A soldered connection gives perfect temps on every level so I found out, but I crimped mine without the specialized tool made for flexwatt.

Yeah, just make sure you put some braces on the top. We are going to have to put two strips of wood on the top to keep it from moving. So, it needs to be a bit steadier. It's not going to fall of anything, it can just move....

Thanks for the nice comments! We love it, but the gap between the boxes and the shelfs is just a tiny bit too big, and we've had one of our really nice males escape form it as a lot of you probably already know. :( So, we are going to get some pieces cut to just slip over the tops of the boxes

I had something like that with one of my racks, so I duct taped some cardboard under the bin to push it up in the air a tiny bit. It works great and moves smooth.
