We had the 36 week ultrasound, and the baby was very cooperative today, and quite photogenic! YAY!! :D

This is a 3/4 profile of the face, the little ball and the bottom of the chin is the fist.

This one is my favorite shot. :sweetheart: You can see the baby is sleeping, fist at the chin again. Just look at those chubby cheeks! I want to pinch them already.

Anyone who's a Mom can sympathise with me on this one. Here's a foot crammed up into my ribs as far as it'll go (the foot is on the left). It look sooooo uncomfortable (and it was for me too!).

Here's a shot from below - the legs are pointing towards the right. Any guesses?

Having trouble? Here's a better shot!

IT's A GIRL!!! YAY! :D This had better be the only time I see her like this on the internet! :main_laugh: Her name is Cadence Marie, and she's going to be a big girl! Right now she's 6lbs 11oz...and she's only 36 weeks along. If she goes to the full 40 weeks, she could easily be 9lbs! An epidural will be my best friend!

LOL....this post was really hard to write without saying "she" or "her"!

I must be good because I could tell it was a girl on the 4th pic! I was hoping you would make us guess but you gave it away at the end lol!
Congrats!

Well, I would have, but I figured the last picture was so obvious! LOL Buns, but no hotdog! :main_laugh: We would be really happy either way, but at least now we no longer have to worry about a boy name! Now I just have to focus on making it to the shower in 1 1/2 weeks.

Me and my brother were annoying my mom from the start, she had to have a c-section on both of us.

I really hope you give birth before NARBC!! and no c-section either.

Congrats on the girl!

LOL.....Looks like I need to edit them like I did the last batch! It is a lot easier to know what you're looking at when you're there and the baby is moving.

Shanti, you're going to have a big beautiful girl! Congrats!!

I was only 5 lbs when I was born, my younger sister came out as 8 lbs, and my whole family thought she was a huge baby already...! With the ultrasound pics, I still don't know what I'm looking at, lol, sorry.

Ok, for all of the ultrasound-challenged, I have made an easy to use guide! Hopefully you can make it out now. Don't feel bad, I had to do the same for my parents!

If you don't see the words and pink outlines, try refreshing.

Those ultrasound pics are awesome Shanti! My wife and I want a girl so bad. I have two boys and my wife says there is too much testosterone in the house.:main_laugh:
