Well I awoke Ed up late for work about by an hour and a half. Then we walk into our room and notice that the door to our 4-foot black rough neck monitors cage is open. First thought through my head is "Where is the cats?!" I find cats, lock them in the next room. Catch very very angry monitor. Everything seems so angry when we need to catch it when it escapes!

We should have paid more attention, she figured how to open the sliding glass by herself. Anyone who tells me monitor lizards are dumb is gonna get a shoe to the face. She moved it open once before, not enough to get out. We closed it and that was that. We didn't think much of it. Well she got out this time. We now need to put a dowel in the sliding glass so it doesn't happen again.

I went and checked over my cats to make sure no bite marks no huge gashes from her claws. They are fine. I go into the next room and step on glass! The cats knocked down a glass and broke it.

To top it off I got screwed over at my job, so now I am looking for a new one. Yay!

My week is just grand! D:

Jeanne the way the cage is built is there is a center brace in the way so we can't use a glass lock. It will get stuck on the wood :( We were GOING to do that, but alas. Right now the cage is stuck shut with our snake hook rofl :)
