hey guys

i have had my leo for about a month now and she is slowly getting bigger in size. which is a good thing.

i have been feeding her meal worms and crickets. i buy 50 of each and she is literally cleaning house every 3-4 days. i dont wanna buy 100+ and then have most of them die before they can get eaten.

i havent tried the containers of dried meal worms, id rather do live but im running out faster than i can keep them stocked.

so what are all the types of live food that can be fed?

Roaches are wonderful. I raise Dubia and all my geckos absolutely love them. Dubia are nutritious while not being obnoxious (or smelly) like crickets and tend to be a bit slower - and obviously they can't jump. Roach nymphs can vary in size from very small (when young) to rather large (subadults) so they are good for all stages of a leopard gecko's life.

Once I switched to roaches I never looked back. :)

Other than that, there are a variety of worms such as superworms, small horn worms, silk worms, phoenix worms, and other species of roaches.

There are others, just do you're research and look around a few feeder sites.

definitely feed it pinhead crickets and meal worms. Meal worms are easier to feed the little one but the crickets are a little healthier.
