Two of my tangerine females had egg bounding\(eggs stuck in oviduct) - they were starting to dig, but both laid no eggs. Then for a couple of weeks they were very bad looking and siting in a "dog pose". After this the egg were droped one by one and they were very dry - mummy eggs. Maybe the reason is in feeding? or should I blame the male?

It sounds like your female's eggs were partially re-absorbed, which causes them to calcify. Egg-binding (dystocia) can be caused my many things, and if much more common with infertile eggs. Here are a few reasons this happens:

- lack of an appropriate place to lay eggs
- stress and annoyance by other geckos
- eggs too large to pass
- the female is too young/small to lay eggs
- obesity, large fatty deposits in the abdomen
- insufficient calcium supplementation
- inadequate calcium metabolism
- infertile eggs being partially re-absorbed and calcifying

so if dystocia is present - it is more likely that eggs are infertile? and if I would treat the female with the injection of calcium gluconate, for example, to make her lay the eggs faster untill they will be reabsorbed it will give me no possitive result with fertile eggs?
