So I decided to add a new layer to Ares (whom i recently discovered to be a girl =/) home...

My Question is... the piece of word that I am using as a "ladder" to the second layer, is it big enough or do you think she will have a problem climbing it?

Well, it's a bit steap... but put her on it... if she can climb it then it's good.

She'll be the best judge for whether or not she can use it.

It looks big enough, but is it sturdy? It looks as if it's just leaning there. If it's sitting there securely then I say it's good. The wood has been sterilized I hope, through boiling or baking.
I personally would be more worried about the aquarium gravel. You're sure she never picks up particles when walking around? Leos tend to lick a lot as they walk, tasting the ground, and I'd think she would ingest the smaller particles.

yes the wood has been sterilized, and yes sturdy... its connected to the 2nd level pretty tightly.

i plan to replace the calci sand soon.

tile is the best IMO and its something cheap and it lasts forever
