I was at the pet shop to get a filter for the fish tank @ work. I had never been to this shop before & checked out the leos. They have two babies together with what looked like wood bark as a substrate. One is a normal, the other is a gorgeous blizzard. The guy said "the colorful one is $50 & the plain one is $25!!! I'll be picking him/her up on friday. What idiots! I'll probably take the normal if they'll give me both for $50 or $60. I feel bad to leave the little guy there & i've been wanting a normal anyway.

Make sure you quarantine them for at least 30 days from the rest of your collection as you do not know what they could be carrying.

I enjoy the normal and Hi-Yellows. I have a Hi-Yellow female that is from a mixed gene pool of normals and stripes( I knew this when I bought her). Going to breed her with Vince my Hi-Yellow stud and hope to mate her with a Male Striped next year.

that's exactly how i got my blizzard. the local pet store was like "i don't know why she has no color, but she looks cool." I got her for $20. great steal. she's got a little yellow on her back but you almost have to stare at her to notice and the color didn't come on till she shed about 10 times or so.
