What do you think of my setup? (DUW)

Hey guys, I saw the thread "rate my setup 1 - 10"

Well im wondering what you guys think of my enclosure
(opinions are preffered, rating 1 - 10 isnt really necessary)

Here are the pics!

(By the way, I DO have a humid hide. It was made and put in after these pictures were taken. Sadly my camera is out of batteries so I cannot show update pictures. Everything is the same, but there is just an extra hide)

You cant see it in the pics but the enclosure is 32 inches long



The bottloe cap is the calcium bowl, the white bowl is the water. I also have a food bowl ill be putting in



also, I dont know if you can see it, but there is two thermometers. Both digital (one is in the bottom left on the first picture, and the other is hidden by the tape measure)

One with a probe on the hot side, the other is ambient and humidity.

You also cannot see the UTH, but it is under thar!

Opinions on the setup are appreciated. As you can see, nothing fancy. Just a get'er done setup. Easier to clean aswell

Anyway im done jabbering, opinions are appreciated!

good: safe for the gecko, spacious
bad: very basic set up. Basic good but not eye appealing.

Its a nice set up basic but nice. you got plenty of room there for a 3rd of 4th hide carful with huge water dishs like that raises humitiy and if not cleaned hold bateria;D

Yeah im not into the looks department with enclosures. I like it simple and effective

I may add a 4th hide thanks for the suggestion!

A simple cheap way to make another hide and somthing extra is a hammack. Take a old shirt or something sheet, blaket ext and get the measurements from the angles then cut out a triangle based on that you can sew the edges but mine like to poo on theres SO i just throw tthem out after a month of being pooped on(i clean the poop everyday)

To me, that would be a nightmare to clean. I would claw my eyes out lol!

But as long as your happy with it, it works

Its not that bad, they poop in one spot(the 2 females to each side poop in the same spot...mostly) and cleaning once a week of the tile is ALOT easier i think then newsprint plus the thought of my leos getting a paper cut is eeeeeking. lol mm id MUCH rather clean there cages(all 9) then my little sisters guinea pig cages or gerbil cages. That my friend is worth of clawing out ones eyes

i'd GLADDLY pic cleaning 9 gecko cages, 3 dubia tubs, a 900+ red racer(roachs) bin, mealies, supers and dubias ANYDAY then guinea pigs once@.@ dirty? HAHA my sisters 2's cages get smelly after the second day! freaking nasty boogers and you cant potty train them=-=;; sorry not a rodent fourm lolxD

Basic is nice but I think some eye candy is nice if not for you, for the poor creature. Id hate to live my life in a newspaper bowl. Maybe try to add some rocks or greens...wood... anything for the poor guy. That just my opinion though
