What does a typical vet visit for a Gecko usually cost?

My vet charges a fee of 40 to look at the gecko and 30 for 2 fecal exams (they must be brought in at the same time). She knows I breed and have a larger collection so she puts me on a flat rate for hourly. I check all my new geckos or breeders while they're in quarantine. She does $125 an hour and can exam 7 geckos an hour. This covers everything besides individual fecal exams.

It really depends on the vet and area. My local vet is awesome and has an exotics only practice. He charges $60 for an office visit but once you're in the door he's super nice about not charging you about every little thing he does (I used to work for a vet that did!) and he only charges $20 for rechecks. I would call around and see what those in your area charge. Never hurts to ask and be prepared
