what is he doing?

so my 4 month old male leopard gecko does this weird thing when he walks across my hands. he's very flighty so i constantly have to put my hand, in front of hand, in front of hand, because he just keeps going. every once in a while he'll be walking and he'll press down on his back legs and stretch forward and then walk again. its hard to explain. so i hope you understand what i mean. but he'll dig push it down and drag it a little bit. its weird. hopefully i can get a clip of him doing it or someone has experienced this also. its not a big concern, i'm just curious. lol

Haha idk it's weird. He like pushes off. He is quirky. I'm going to take a video of him doing it tomorrow.
