Can anyone tell us what she is and what might be a good choice of male to breed her with? This is my sons first gecko and he wants to try breeding her.
Agree with Nigel. Definately fatten her up. Don't forget to make sure you're up to all the hatchlings, place to keep them, supplies, food etc. She's almost a baldy, if you found a darker/more intense orange super hypo tang baldy with ct it would be a pretty good match. Or you could always pick an albino to get some hypos and normal hets for hybino, or if a raptor-that will give you all sorts of outcomes next year breeding.
Thanks for the info. We will make sure to fatten her up, I just weighed her and she is 43 grams. As far as space for hatchlings, I have that covered. I use to keep lots of snakes and I still have all of my racks stored in the basement. I was going to start keeping ball pythons again, but my son wants to try breeding geckos. I like leopards alot too and figured it would be a great project to work on together. Raising feeder insects will be lots less work than raising rodents again.
