Hello there. I picked up a leo at a show last Sunday; and was told that the hatch date was sometime in late August of 2010. Tonight was the first time I weighed her; and came up with 17 grams.... Is this too little for a 7 - 8 month old leo; and what is the average weight for a leo of this age (assuming the guy at the show was correct as far as hatch date)??

17 grams is WAYYYYY TO LOW. The ideal weight for a healthy gecko from like 7 months on is around 50 grams.

OK; included is a recent pic of her. Picked her up last Sunday from the show; and my profile pic is the night I got her home. This one is from this evening. Does she look too thin to you guys; or does she look healthy?? I am asking this; because not sure if I am weighing correctly or if my scale is messed up. I am weighing the container on the scale empty; and getting a measurement of 38-39 grams; then when I place her in it; the highest measurement I have gotten is 57 grams.....so; subtract the weight of empty container from total; and that's where I am getting the 17 - 18 gram weight.
