what is the ball

Hiya all I have been noticing in my cricket colony that there is these little round balls about the size of a BB filled with liquid all over when i go to clean the colony. im new to cricket farming and I am clueless to what it is.. anyone have any ideas? its a very lightish brown almost clear.

Are you using any kind of soil in their tank? Some kinds have little balls like you describe mixed in. I don't think its coming from the crickets.

hmm i was using peat but i now have them on paper only have a egg laying box... ill check tomorrow and see if they are any more... I shall solve this mystery ahah

Some insects, like aphids, produce liquid droplets but that's not something crickets do.

Pictures would help I think.
