None unless your house gets seriously cold, we are talking 60-65, then there is no need for night time heating. If you feel the need to add heat to it, use a small watt black light. But remember it is natural for in the wild for the temps to drop.
infrared does produce a particular amount of heat though, so you still need to consider the wattages that you get for it. But you can easily view reptiles with a black light, and if it is something you are trying to use to add a little more heat to the tank if your room does stay cold, I can tell you from exp, a black light is easier to sleep with on in the room then the red lights..lol
