What is this?

My leopard gecko has green gunk in her eyes. I have no idea what it is and she can't close her eyes. It is kind of like green scabs. I do not have the money right now to take her to the vet and no one can tell me what it is. Can you please help?

Sounds like conjuntivitis (sp) Until you can get her to a vet (which you will have to do) I suggest a warm cloth on her eyes a couple times a day. If you can wash them out with some saline solution (anybody in your house wear contacts)that would be great. Just remember this is not a fix, this is only a temp till you get to the doctors. You are going to need eye antibiotics for this to go away, without meds your LG is in danger of possible loss of eyesight. Do your best to find the $ to get her better real soon.
