Definitely Teratoscincus. They do much better on sifted play sand (several inches of it). Keep them warm and one end somewhat moist so they can borrow. Medium-sized geckos with healthy appetites.

Are they common? I only paid $10 for it and that included a 20L and heatpad.

its definently a frog eyed. not sure on the specific species though. id setup that 20l with some fine sand and with one end moistened just a tad. I've heard of people using pvc pipes in the sand as an unatural burrow for the gecko. i personally havent tried it but it seems as if it would work. they have a hardy appetite and dont like to be handled much due to their delicate skin. give a shallow water dish and a hide or 2. they are awesome and rewarding geckos! good luck!

That thing is adorable! It's obviously not, but it reminds me of a knobtail, with the big alien eyes.
