What kind of gecko is this

Someone bought it from craigslist and asked on a facebook post what it is.
they bought it as a black pearl.

i have no clue..
IMO the tail looks alot like a strophurus the eyes look nephurus.

Rare to get one of those in good shape like that. I hope whoever posted the picture on FB has solid experience working with reptiles. From what I've read they can be a challenge to care for.
