What kind of UTH do i need.

Hi, new tothis but just want to know..

what kind of uth do i need for a 20 gallon long tank?

what does the wattage need to be, and what is the best brand?

I have a 20 gallon long tank and I got a "Medium" sized UTH from Zoo Med. I am sure there are other brands out there but Zoo Med seems to be the most common. The medium sized UTH will cover about... roughly about 1/3 of your tank (assuming you set it up in one of the corners). Specs of the UTH says is 16 watts... by the way, just in case, you'll see in the specs that the medium sized UTH is kinda recommended for 30 - 40 gallon tanks... but I think this size fits perfectly a 20 gallon -long- tank. :main_thumbsup:
