What makes a Gem Snow?

Looked on the gecko wiki and cant figure out what makes a Gem Snow.... well a gem snow. They kinda just look like Mack snows, and describe them as such. Can someone give me a little more info thanks!

Jim is still around. I think he must just be busy with other things You can find an array of things from just typing in Gem in the search thingy here. I will be glad to help you with any questions I can. I am breeding quite a few Gems
