Hey everybody,
I've just picked up a baby leo and was wondering if anybody could tell me what morph it is. I saw him/her at the local pet store along with one other about the same size. They were both really alert and active. The other one had hissed and bit both me and the pet store employee so I decided on the other.

Here are some pics of my baby leo who I was I told is approx 1 mo. old:

Thanks for the comments guys!
There's a ramp in the back of the terrarium that it can use to climb up into the coconut hut. In fact, the pictures of baby leo (name undecided yet) were taken while he/she were on that very ramp. lol

I've owned a High Yellow Male. It was about 11 inches head to tip of tail and also a female normal about 8-9 inches both for 12 years who both sadly passed away earlier this year. :(
I took a little break and decided since I had a perfect enclosure hanging around, I went out and got a cute baby leo to take care of.

Any way to tell how they'll look like as adults? I know there can be variations the spots.
So it can look like this:

or this?

The front one...
the back is murphys patternless

Those are so beautiful!
I went to open up the lid of my humid hide to mist it and look who I find?

Already making his/herself at home after 1 night. :) These pics make leo look so big. In fact he's so tiny, maybe 2.5 inches right now.
I've forgotten how quick and dartlike they are when they are so young.

Also, what do you guys think of his size? I know babies start of with a slimmer tail and their tail a little wider than the body. Maybe just a hatchling? Can anybody tell if it's closer to 1 mo or 2 weeks hatched?

It's been over a decade since my previous leos were babies. I've almost completely forgotten what they looked like as babies. :(

Back with an update!!

Hey Guys, after away for a while since my initial post, I'm back with some pic of little leo! I still haven't decided on a name since I think leo is still too young to be sexxed. Here are some pics of him I took on May 4. These pics were taken after his second shed since I brought him home on Apr 9. He hadn't eaten for a week and his tail became pencil thin. I was starting to get extremely worried as he only weighed 2.5 grams at approx 5-6 weeks old. But one day, he seemed to turn the corner and not look back! Very active, healthy poops and sheds, eats 3-4 crickets twice a day.

Making sure he's ok in the humid hide:

Little Leo is starting to get more curious and less scared and skittish.
Look where I found him the other evening:

And finally, he was very calm yet curious crawling all over my hands and arms! What a cutie! I really like the orange ring he's developed right at the base of his tail!

So adorable! Love the tank set up!! I use the same humid hide as you for my fat tail gecko. It serves its purpose well and looks nice. You know what I did for names? I gave them unisex names!

Yea I was thinking about unisex names too. Or I can name him based on what colour or markings he'll end up with.

The enclosure has a screen that sits atop. I only have it open because of the pics. Same with the humid hide.

Aww...I've not had a baby, though I wanted one....I went the adoption route, and ended up with an adult male. Any idea on what 'Adult' means? he's definately fully grown, so I figured anything over 1 year. No giant line in him either, as he's only about 6 in long.

Update on Not so Little Leo anymore.

Hey guys, I've been away from the forums and I'm back to update my leo's status. No signs of large femoral bumps so far so I'll be referring to her as a she. But at 5-6 months, it still may be early to tell.

Steady diet of calcium dusted crickets supplemented 2x/week with Herptivite & d3. Also I feed her regular sized mealies for variety.

It's been really hot this summer and she's been staying on the cool side a lot. She's recently been hiding in the humid moist a fair bit :)

Although still jumpy at times when I come home from work or out, she hightails it into her cave. I'm still amazed at their agility and speed. But for the most part, she's really calm and tame and even lets me scoop her from underneath. And it's so much fun watching her scurry around being so curious.

And now, the pics:
