I'm looking at picking up a new Leo and the breeder has her listed as Leucistic het Tremper. I was thinking Patternless, carrot tail? What do you guys think?
Some people call patternless leucistic, which isn't really correct. But based on appearance, the gecko appears to be what the breeder listed her as. I tend to be suspicious of breeders that use that terminology, but if you're not looking to breed her than it isn't much to worry about.
Depending on who you ask, you could call her carrot tail. Personally I like to see a bit more orange.
She is very light colored for a patternless. At first, I thought maybe albino, but the eyes don't agree. If you really want to know, you should inquire further on her lineage (ask what her parents were and whatnot). It's tough to be definitive with just appearance alone.
