If sunglows are your favorite get one
Leopard gecko care & personality are basically the same morph to morph
Giants tend to be mellowed than none giants

Enigmas spin & act crazy but are friendly. They are prone to a neurological disorder

Definitely get a morph that catches your eyes. If you're getting a pet, it's best you get one that you personally like. As for whether leopard geckos are boring, that depends on your expectations. They are not dogs and cats, you don't cuddle with them, play fetch, and they won't do any tricks for you. But leopard geckos are mild mannered reptiles that tolerate small amount of handling, and it's always fun during feeding time (it never gets old for me). They do lay around, sleep during the day, and are most active at night as they're crepuscular (active at dawn & dusk).

So know what you're getting yourself into, it may or may not be the right pet for you. Just make sure you have the right expectations, and have the means to take care of one for the long term (they can live for a very long time).

Yea they don't do much but they look realy cool doing nothin. Pick the morph you like the most, but as pets males seem more friendly especially giants. My male giant will always just hang out

Just know that leopard geckos aren't "hold it, play with it, cuddle it" type pets. And they prefer to live alone. Don't get 2 leopard geckos thinking.. Oh it'll have a friend and be all happy.. They are happy to just chill in their enclosure and eat. I personally almost never handle my leo. She has never tried to bite me or anything, she just doesn't really like it. PLEASE research proper leopard gecko care, find a reptile vet you can take it to if problems come up and make sure your parents are ready to take it to the vet if it gets sick. Do these things before you get a leopard gecko. Leopard geckos can live for 20+ years. This is my leopard gecko. Her name is Ozy and she is a Blizzard morph. :)

Any morph that appeals you! I wouldn't reccomended enigmas though because they have enigma syndrome and with the syndrome they require more care than you may want

Agreed. Enigmas seem to be a basket case. As beautiful as they are, I don't see why people continue breeding them, knowing they have neurological problems.

People who have never owned reptiles before and get one often times decide they are boring. I love reptiles. I've been keeping them for close to 20 years. I find them beautiful, fascinating, and I love providing them with the environment they need. I do not expect them to entertain me however.

As for morphs, there are so many. Find one that catches your eye!

I never get bored of seeing or handling my Leo's. Some don't enjoy handling and some do not mind it. I have a couple eclipses that seem to enjoy it.. I have loved owned and worked with reptiles since I was 7 so it's a deep passion I have that won't go away. If you're like me they never get boring, I get joy out of cleaning the tubs and putting them back in and watching them check out the new paper towel and taking a lick of fresh water, it never fails to make me smile. They're also a lot of fun to watch climb a pile of clean folded cloths on my bed ! However I would do research and learn proper care, even buy a book on them before buying one.. As said above they can live a long time, and are breathing living animals which require attention and time. If I was you I would set up an enclosure and do a lot of research, try to look at all the different morph types. Then! Buy the one you like the most from a trusted breeder. There are ton of great people and breeders here that would be happy to talk / work with you. I've personAlly always been a sucker for raptors and reverse stripes !
