Don't you love how babies do that? Every baby I've ever had has been very bitey. I swear they thought in their head every time they saw my hand, "HAND! NOM NOM! FOOD!" They've always mellowed out as they got older. I always think it's funny when babies bite. I had this one that would do an attack shriek right before biting anything.

One of my little leo babies, Graffiti, did this hissy scream at me with her mouth open wide, scared me for a sec cause i thought there was something wrong with her but only to find that she tried to bite me... they are so funny when they get that attitude, trying to become larger than they really are and attack my fingers and then walk all over my hand... they made me think of chihuahua dog :)

and now lately my beardie, also very young juvie, i been hand feeding him at times and now he associate my fingers as food and sometimes grab my fingertip pretty hard.. im like whoa! that is not food :p

My gecko did tht to me once.. I went into to fix a fallen plant and she was acting all sweet and then turned into a Rattle Snake.. lmao her tail moved a little then she struck. No teeth, her mouth wasn't even open, but it scared me cuz it was so unexpected. I just laughed and she went back to looking sweet as ever..

I love when hatchlings get mad and yell and hiss at me for moving worms out of the bin. I know nothing happens, but it still scares the crap out of me.

I have had a few Mack Snow babies do that to me and after I got over the shock-I really had a good laugh

They are too funny when they have that attitude when they are that small
Thankfully they lose it as they get larger-lol

I see the same thing with my rats. They get all puffed up, make lots of noise at each other. They get up on thier back legs and start pushing, occasionally getting some back leg kicks in. Then it turns into wrestling, with lots more screaming and pushing. All hell has broken loose. Then they just stop, cute little 6" tall grizzley bears.

Oh Bodon...you have to see one have a hissy fit!!! It is too funny. Our first hatchling when he was just 1.5 grams acted as if he was a 300 gram beast. he would his and jump at you and do his little back raising thing and squeel. I got it on video once. He has stopped acting that way since he is bigger. I can't wait to get more hatchlings. I love their spirit!!!!
