I am considering getting another hovabator for incubating for females, but I know that hovas tend to fluctuate a Loy,so I figured I could get a thermostat to fix that. What thermostat would you reccomend?I currently have a herpstat for my racks, and I love it.would another Herpstat work?thanks!any other ways to help keep the hova from fluctuating a lot is appreciated!

A herpstat should work fine. If you can keep the room temperature stable the built in wafer thermostat is sufficient on its own.

I think I will go with a herpstat.is there anything I need to do other than plug the incubator into the herpstat?I believe I read somewhere you turn the wafer thermostat all the way up or down...which one is it?Thanks Tony!

That is all there is to it, plug the hova into the herpstat and place the herpstat temp probe inside. You want to turn the wafer all the way up, if it is turned down it may not come on when the herpstat triggers it.
