What to use for bedding and food?

I buy superworms from the petstore and they come in a big deli cup with dried corn kernals as bedding. What can I use that I can get from say giant eagle to house them on and feed them with? I use apple,carrot and potatoe slices for food and water but I need help on what to put them on.

I am gonna get some crickets and mealworms too so hopefully I can house all of them on the same kind of bedding that they will eat too.
What kind of bowl do you guys use if you feed superworms? I have a brown bowl it's not real tall so the supers and mealies get out easily. I would rather feed superworms so I think I'm gonna just get supers and crickets. It would be easy if I can get a bowl from the petstore but how big of a bowl do I need for the supers? I just don't wanna get something to small. They sell the stone bowls but I don't know if they can climb out. They are slippery so maybe the supers will stay in there.

Hopefully I can buy something cheap to use as bedding for the supers that they can eat and be able to get it at a local grocery store. I'm going around noon today to get everything so hopefully someone chimes in by then lol. Thanks in advance..

Can anyone chime in please, lol. I don't know what to use for a bedding. I used oatmeal but it got nasty quick from the moisture of the food I was giving them. I'm guessing it's due to the oatmeal having that fine powder. All the stuff at the pet store is like a fine powder also.

They keep the supers on dried corn kernels it works good for a bedding, I don't think they eat it. I mean I gutload any way. The dried corn is good as it doesn't hold moisture from the apple slices so it doesn't clump up like the powdery oatmeal.
I don't know if i can get some of the bedding from the petstore or not. It works great for supers but I think it's gonna be a bit large for the mealworms. I see people say wheat bran and I have no clue what that is. I just need something cheap that I can get from the local market. Please let me know what i can get that's cheap and works good..
