I thought you weren't supposed to mix the albino strains?
I could mistaken but i'm pretty sure I read that somewhere.

Its not a good Idea to mix the albino strains together but if you were to breed them you would get a normal het. tremper albino, bell albino, 50% het. patternless(i think) and I don`t know what the genes for eclipse are so could someone fill in the blank.

don't understand why you would want to do this. if you did do it though you would get:

normals
het tremper albino
het bell albino
poss het eclipse
poss het blizzard

if you bred the offspring back I think you'd get either an albino of some sort maybe a albino blizzard. you might also get some of the eclipse coming though. would make more sense to breed the female with a normal to be honest at least you would be a little more in control of what you hatched out.

I am breeding them just for practice(since thats what I already own)so I can make money to buy more sub-adults to breed and get more unique morphs. So if you think about it, it is acualy a good idea.:)

Actually if you think about it it's not a good idea IMO.

if you are breeding them to make money than stop right there. if you sell geckos that are double het for different strains of albino (which you will get from that pair) then you will have no way of tracking which genes get passed on in future generations.... its all in all just a bad idea

If you really wanted to breed, i would suggest investing in a male that is either some sort of r.a.p.t.or morph (meaning homozygous for eclipse and tremper albino) or something else het eclipse and tremper; then breeding that with your female. the offspring from that pair could possibly make enough money to create profit for the purchase of more geckos...
