hey everybody

My girlfriend and i are quite new to gecko's, and have considered that in the future after we have more experience with them that we might begin breeding. At the moment we have a Blazing Blizzard (we're unsure of the sex but have a feeling its a male) and a female Hi-Yellow. Completely hypothetically, what would be the outcome of these two bred? Would it take the traits of just one, or be like a mix of the two? Don't worry, we're not planning to do anything soon, both are far too small, and we're too inexperienced, this is a "just for fun" curiousity question!

I want to COMMEND you on that statement, because I think that's the smart thing to do. I mean, gather experience BEFORE begenning any leopard gecko breeding efforts. Unfortunately, it's not the norm. Kudos!

What you'd get are:

Normal/High Yellow 100% het for Albino and Blizzard

That would be the groundwork for creating more Blazing Blizzards in the next season, and would be a completely acceptable cross. That is, so long as that High Yellow isn't heterozygous for a different albino strain than the Blazing. Do you know what albino strain the Blazing Blizzard is? Most likely it's either Tremper or Las Vegas Albino.
