this is my first rant.

i absolutely cannot stand it when people post threads/ responses that are completely non-sensicle (sp?). i have read so many threads where i have to read it over 5x to even kind of understand what the person is trying to say! i could go right now and find at least three that fit this description but I dont want to offend anyone...:main_lipsrsealed:

seriously people, I'm not saying you have to be an english major with perfect grammar to post posts but honestly is a simple proofread that hard?? at least to see if you know what you're talking about before you expect someone else to understand it.... (i'm sorry, i dont speak drunken pirate, nope i dont speak wookie either:p)

ugh- nobodys perfect, I get that. but how do you expect to get anykind of help/response when you write in complete gibberish...

even people from other countries manage to make their posts make sense and there is a language barrier!:main_rolleyes: (i dont know how that works but i do understand that some languages switch vowels and verbs or s/t so a direct translation would put words in the wrong order)

and yes i understand that there are probably plenty of grammatical errors in this post but guess what?? i bet you understood what i was saying the first time you read it...:D

rant over...

WIN. And I'm an English major with IMperfect grammar (I started this sentence with an 'and' :D) so it super frustrates me.

I have to agree when it doesn't make sense it drives me bonkers. But I don't mind spelling errors or even grammer errors. Since I'm not perfect myself and sometimes don't think before I type ;) But when it's all mixed up and mumble jumble hard to understand, that does drive me crazy.

I haven't noticed any on here yet tho. But other message boards for sure.

LMAO!!!! You have no idea how much that annoys me. Maybe it's b/c i'm extremely OCD or that i used to be quite good at spelling back in the day, that doesn't mean i don't make mistakes b/c i do and quite often but i try my best to look over what i just wrote and make sure it at LEAST makes sense as to what i'm saying. I cannot stand it when someone basically just writes something straight from their heads and hits the "submit" button w/out even making sure it's understandable. I know there are some people on this forum that aren't from this country and have trouble w/English but at a certain point you need to learn to pick up on key errors. Most of the time it's something very easy to see to me, maybe i'm wrong and am just being too critical but it drives me nuts. I want to say something but i have a tendency to get into trouble b/c my mouth speaks for me before my mind has a chance to check to make sure it's not offensive lol.

lol I've seen this too and it is frustrating but for some people it cant be helped for whatever reason. Weather it be a language barrier or otherwise.

I can remember a couple of posts where someone has asked for help and allot of us where like, what is this about???.

I just try to be understanding as sometimes they really cant help it. It really is good practice to read over your post and preview it before submitting, makes it allot easier to get your point across when people can understand what your saying.
